The Country Chapel and Refuge is the result of
a vision from our Lord Jesus Christ using Isaiah 54:2.

Isaiah 54:2 “Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the curtains
of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes.”

The Country Chapel and Refuge is a chapel and retreat for all Christians, including all weary Christians.  (There are no requirements to come to the Chapel.)  This would be a time of renewal, reconciliation, restoration, and refreshing under the direction and instruction of the Holy Spirit.

It is available to use for a period of time (1 day, 2-3 days, 1 or 2 weeks) to all Christian churches and Christian Groups (Example: Ladies’ Bible Studies, Men’s Bible Studies), and Christian families.  The Country Chapel and Refuge is under construction and not available at this time (October 2002).  Expected available dates are from 2002 and 2003 on.

The Country Chaple and Refuge is a non-profit organization, with both adirector and board of trustees.  The present director is Meredith Rice, and the present board is composed of Pastor Bret Stedman, Pastor Dale Shostrom, Dr. Launy Schwartzman, and honorary board member from Uganda - Pastor Lawnsome Etum-Akezi.

The Country Chapel is in northern Idaho, approximately three miles east of Deary, Idaho on Highway 8.  The land area of The Country Chapel and Refuge, itself, at this time is slightly over Eleven acres.  In the surrounding area, there are many additional attractions.

There are many lakes, rivers and streams, mountains with numerous forms of appeal, with tremendous amounts of wildlife in northern Idaho.  In addition to the enchantment , lure, and vitality, of northern Idaho, is the charisma and charm of The Country Chapel and Refuge, itself.  Please come, refresh, renew, restore, and reconcile yourself with our precious Lord.  Be blessed as you are surrounded by some of His wonderful magnificence.
